I wish I wore shapewear back when body suits were in fashion, YIKES!
ReplyDeleteI could have used some shapewear at my last interview, my tights were bunching a little under my dress and I wish the lines were smoother!
ReplyDeleteI wish I wore shapewear the last time I wore a maxi dress. I had a thong on and my big butt kept sucking up the dress and giving me a dress wedgie!!!

ReplyDeleteI wish I wore shapewear when I was postpartum!
ReplyDelete-Catherine csm824@gmail.com
I wish I wore shapewear basically every day. I just had a baby and need some badly. :)
ReplyDeleteThere has been many an occasion, but a certain silky bridesmaid's dress worn for a dear friend's wedding would have looked much more flattering on all of us girls with those Tummy Shorts. Now we know! xo
ReplyDeleteI wish I could wear shapewear everyday, just because! (just like a Kardashian ;) )
ReplyDeleteI've never tried shapewear but would love to try it out at some christmas parties coming up!
ReplyDeleteI went on a cruise last spring and thought I could get away with a cute little dress I'd brought...unfortunately the pictures are much less flattering than I thought! These look great : )
ReplyDeleteI wish I wore shapewear when I was trying on wedding dresses! I think I would have had a much easier time choosing a dress!
ReplyDeleteI wish I wore shapewear under my black sequin graduation dress, it was pretty tight fitting and the fact that it had sequins only accentuated the curve in my midsection :( oh well, at least now I know to invest in one!
ReplyDeleteThanks Andee!
I have two more fitted dresses that I just can't seem to find the correct shape wear for. It seems like it's all either too tight and cuts off circulation or does nothing and isn't worth wearing!
ReplyDeleteI wish I'd worn shapewear 2 years ago when I wore a tight bodycon dress from H&M, but at that point I didn't know what shapewear was. I'm a huge fan now!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had shapewear that was see through for under my bikini!!!!!
ReplyDeleteandee, your post baby bod is awesome! you dont even need it.

I wish I wore shapewear for a bodycon dress last month! It would help smooth out the little pouch that I've been trying to get rid of.
ReplyDeleteI wish I was wearing the shapewear on my birthday this past year when I was sporting some underwear lines through my dress...sexy!!
ReplyDeletehow about right now?! a slinky jersy maxi doesn't seem to compliment my bumpy body. i forget about shapewear & don't actually own anything. i'm packing a few extra pounds & already dreading the coming holiday outfit stress...
ReplyDeleteI wish I wore some shapewear under a silk dress I wore about 2 months after having my baby. When I saw the pictures I realized how my mirror had lied to me!
ReplyDeleteLooking back at photos from a family reunion this past summer, I really wish I had been wearing shapewear!
ReplyDeleteI wish I wore shapewear underneath several of my tighter maxi dresses!!
ReplyDeleteI could have used some shapewear when I went to a close friend's wedding two weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteI used to LIVE in shapewear.... In college i gained a ton of weight and was in very much denial of it. I wore shapewear with my jeans so they would fit better. and have tried TONS of different brands but still have yet to find something that is comfortable as well as doesn't give me that muffin top!! i mean i wear the shapewear to stop the muffin top, NOT MOVE IT UP TO THE MIDDLE OF MY BACK!! haha
ReplyDeleteI have since lost about 50lbs but still wear my shapewear camis everyday because they just make everything look a little better, and if nothing else the pressure on my belly reminds me to suck my gut in!!!
my wedding is coming up in sept and i am wearing a sleek lace dress with a silky under slip and I would love to not have to worry about extra rolls and uncomfortable shifting and pulling gurtles under my wedding dress!!!
so about a year ago during the summer i wore a BCBG jersey maxi dress, somewhat like the one your wearing (above) but in a blue color. Idk what i was thinking wearing granny panties that have thick lining on the side. I totally forgot to wear spanx, well also the ones i have are soo uncomfortable you know the ones where you can't eat or breathe right. Anyway my friend immediatley noticed and the whole day i had to wrap my cardigan around my waist the most hilarious and embarrassing thing is my husband (bf then) remembered that moment and also thought "what was she thinking" lolllll
ReplyDeleteI wish I had shape wear this past summer while in my friends wedding one month postpartum. I had some Spanx buy between nursing and being postpartum it felt like it was 110 degrees inside my dress, I ended up ditching them just before walking down the aisle! ;)
ReplyDeleteI wish I had wore one when I was wearing a bridesmaids dress...
ReplyDeleteCustomize your owm fur coat. http://www.cwmalls.com can meet you need.
ReplyDeleteI feel like everyday these days I wish I was wearing shape wear. I had my little girl five months ago and it's been tough getting my tummy back into shape.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely doing a summer trip with my family & friends. I wore a pink dress and was bulging out in ALL the wrong places. I wish I would have worn shape wear that day. The pictures are so embarrassing.
ReplyDeleteI wish I were wearing shapewear when I went to a birthday party and had my baby about 3 months prior. I thought I looked good at home, but the photos proved otherwise lol =/
ReplyDeleteAnytime after having my baby! Could of skipped some of those baggy shirts!
ReplyDeleteI wish I were wearing shape wear for the whole 6 months after I gave birth to my first born!
ReplyDeleteI haven't ever used shape wear but would love to try it out!
ReplyDeleteAt my best friend's wedding!
ReplyDeleteI should have used it at my last birthday :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I was wearing shape wear while I was a bridesmaid for my friends wedding!I wore this awful spanx from Victoria's secret and it was much too binding, I felt like I was going to faint in the near 100 F weather!
ReplyDeleteOn my wedding day! I tried on countless shapeware before my big day, and none of the made the cut (especially for the price). I thought it wasn't worth the $ for just one day, but a bit of my panty line showed through - annoying!
ReplyDeletelol! Almost every day right now- just had baby #2! She's totally worth it though! Seriously though, my sister's wedding when the spax I wore sucked the life out of me because they did not breathe at all! So uncomfortable- even if they did do their job, they weren't really worth it! rose (dot) jennylee (at) yahoo (dot) com
ReplyDeleteat a performance with my band! eeeee. dress too tight! melrae_segal@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteA recent wedding I went to, I think my dress would have looked a little bit nicer if I had some shapewear on!
ReplyDeleteeveryday
ReplyDeleteI remember the day I was the matron of honor at my friends' very casual backyard vows. It was a beautiful day, but I felt very self-conscious of how I looked in my clothes. I picked something frumpy and too big because I didn't think I looked good enough for my 'nice' clothes. I should give these shapers a try!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway, I have been wanting to try out her new shapewear!
ReplyDeleteOh, oops I forgot to answer your question. :) I wish I had them for my wedding day! I actually bought Spanx to wear underneath my dress and when I went to go put the panty hose on (its so stinking tight) it ripped all the way down the legs so I had to throw them away.
ReplyDeleteI had my baby 2 mnths ago and im actually wearing shapewear as i write this comment. This one doesnt let me breathe. It breaks in the middle lol. I want to stand all day in it. My cousin brought it from colombia but it sure keeps me tight! I want to wear one that i would enjoy putting on and not need my husband to hwlp me zip it ip haha
ReplyDeleteLast summer, my boyfriend and I went to a friend's wedding, with family and friends. I wore a high waisted skirt from American Apparel in hot pink with a black top. I'm curvy so I was very excited since the skirt accentuated my hips and narrow waist. Apparently I didn't rather notice what others did. I was asked if I was pregnant ALL NIGHT LONG. Shape wear was def needed that night! Lol
ReplyDeleteLove the look of these! I was wearing a dress to a wedding that could have used some better shape wear. It was the kind that comes up to the bra line and it kept rolling down creating the look of a nice roll around my gut. That is anti-shapewear! haha
ReplyDeleteMy sister in law's wedding this summer. :( After having my second baby, I'm finding that it's a lot harder to lose the weight and get toned compared to after I had my first baby. I'm only 5'2, but I felt like a stuffed sausage that was in the wrong casing. lol
ReplyDeleteI had a little baby boy 5 months ago (thebostonnews.blogspot.com) and getting back in shape has been a little bit harder than I have planned. So when did I wish I had this shapewear? Right, yesterday, the day before, the day before that.... Thanks for the opportunity to win something so great!!
ReplyDeleteI went to a business dinner a few years back and the dress I wore, definitely needed shapewear. Didn't look too bad, but I was not comfortable the entire night.

Hubby and I are trying to have our first baby! It would be wonderful to have something like this on those days when I don't feel very glamorous!
ReplyDeleteWish I had something like this to wear under a dress I wore a couple of weeks ago to an event. The garmets I wore underneath were way too restricting and uncomfortable. I am definitely going to check these out! Thank you for the entry :)

My college graduation! I have always been on the smaller side, but during my senior week we celebrated 4 long years of hard work with lots of decadent food and drinks, so sadly my beautiful (and tight) graduation dress was not nearly as flattering as it was when I initially purchased it. I always think how much better my pictures would have turned out if my belly had been smoothed out with some kind of shapewear.
ReplyDeleteA formal I attended about 5 years ago. The pics showed that I really, really needed shapewear. I've been a fan since!

I wish I had been wearing shapewear, post-baby at my son's Kindergarten Graduation. I was wearing this really cute jersey wrap-dress, but when I passed a window at the school I realized that I looked like a Shar-pei in a dress.

ReplyDeleteI wish I wore shapewear before and after I had my baby 17 years ago. It's never too late to start wearing them. Thanks for sharing!

The last time I wish I wore shapewear....today! I wore a sweater dress to work and got called into a very important meeting. The tights that I wore didn't help the cause. I think my confidence level dropped - I was completely self-conscious about how I looked to the staff. These pieces would be great to try and since I work in non-profit will fit right into my budget.
ReplyDeleteThanks for writing such a great blog.
Just found your blog on BlogHer! Great posts and love the styles!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many times shapewear could have been used, but I could really have used it when I was trying out a new sweater dress. Pants cover a multitude of less than stellar spot, but a sweater dress is not as forgiving. Would so love to wear a sweater dress with my new boots this year and it's NOT happening without the smoothing effects of shapewear!
I wish I tried and wore shapewear prior to my January 2012 wedding! I obviously knew about it but had never tried it. Since my wedding I have added a couple pieces to my wardrob and I'm loving it. I would say the last time I wish I wore shapewear was Thanksgiving Day when I wore a sweaterdress and ate too much. Although it would have been uncomfortable either way! :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I was wearing a shapewear to my friend's birthday party where we had buffet and I wore a tight dress.

ReplyDeleteNeed shapewear!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had worn shapewear at my cousins wedding...I wore a knit NUDE colored dress that kept riding up from this big booty of mine and some shapewear would have smoothed things out and kept everything in place! Boy did I not calculate my dresses moves after I walked around a bit! Talk about constant tugging and pulling it down! :(
