Sorry I have lagged on updating pics from my baby shower a couple weeks ago. I uploaded pictures only then for my computer to crash and had to get a new one! I am so thankful for all the great gifts little Ava received and the work my girlfriends put it in to make it so special for us! The shower turned out simple and chic just how I had hoped! It was small and intimate with about 15 people and couldn't have asked for anything more!!
I wore a T-bags maxi dress with a cropped vegan leather jacket (Paper Crown by Lauren Conrad) My girlfriend made some ammmmazing "mocktails" for myself and two of my other girlfriends that are prego. They were so tasty and kept us from feeling left out while all the other guests were having pink bubbly!!
I set up a little coffee bar with doughnuts on a stick and rock candy sugar stirrers. I also made these tasty pasta skewers (recipe posted on Pinterest under my "taste" board) My girlfriend brought pink macaroons and mini red velvet Sprinkles cupcakes! They are ever so dangerous in that little bite size! Needless to say we were all stuffed!!! You can also see my hubby in one of the pics "helping out" aka stuffing his face with cake ;)
My girlfriend brought a polaroid camera, which I thought was such a fun idea! Everyone loved getting to take pics and go home with them! I LOVED the little frame where my girlfriends wrote sweet messages to baby Ava. I plan on hanging it in her nursery. Hope you girls enjoyed the pics! Having her shower made me even more excited to meet this little sweet pea!!!!

ReplyDeleteHi Andee,
ReplyDeleteSuper random question on an older post but, do you mind sharing some information on your kitchen island? Is it a custom piece or did it come with the house? Also, in some of your pics it looked like there were a couple in your kitchen. Or, maybe it is the same one in different pictures. Any info is greatly appreciated! I adore your blog!
