Honeybee Beauty: No makeup...makeup

Hope you ladies had a lovely weekend! I promise a pregnancy update post is coming soon. I just really need to get my hubby to take a pic of this growing tummy...and it is growing! ;) I am a huge fan of the no makeup, makeup look and I pretty much wear it every weekday (weekends I tend to get a little more creative)

I get lots of requests on what products I use so I wanted to share them with you....

Kiehls tinted moisturizer is a great inexpensive moisturizer I use daily with SPF. Laura Mercier also has an amazing tinted moisturizer that I use when I want a little more coverage but not to heavy. For drugstore foundation I am using Loreal true match as I find it is the closest color match for my skin. Illamasqua blush in "lover" is worth every penny. The color pay off is so gorgeous. Ardell "wispies" are my go to lashes. For brows I've been using benefits brow kit for almost two years and find it is super easy to use (although I use my own angled brush not the little one it comes with). I love Lorac bronzer! A little goes a long way so I know it will definitely last me a long time. Nars highlight powder in Albatross is perfect when I want that extra glow. Its subtle and not to over the top.


In these pics i'm wearing Kiehls tinted moisturizer, maybeline mascara, benefit brow kit for my brows and oak lipliner to line my lips. I hope this was helpful and answered some of your questions! I LOVE to hear what your "go to" products are as well! xoox

  5. I always have liked the no makeup look.You look beautiful! You deft don't need no makeup. I've been wanting to try a tinted moisturizer. I just use aveeno from all the ones i tried i feel that one works for my skin. I use Makeup forever I love it Ialso like the shiseido one for touch ups. I want to check out the Nars highlight powder especially since you say it's not over the top. Thanks girl for sharing. Your skin is flawless xo

  18. Thanks for sharing your favorite makeup!! I LOVE using Koh Gen Do foundation - it's very light on the skin and is perfect for evening out the skin. I also LOVE Jouer's tinted moisturizer. Fave mascara is Armani's Eyes to Kill and love NARs blush in Desire. I like Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer but find it so hard to keep it from oxidizing!! :-( Take care!

  19. L'oreal true match is the bomb, I've been using this collection on makeup jobs for over 4 years now bc it's super blendable and so many good color options. Too Faced cosmetics snow bunny bronzer and pink leopard are two highlighting products I couldn't live without, and their Eye Shadow Insurance is a must have everyday to keep all of my eyeshadows and liners in place! Also L'Oreal Infallible lip gloss in "fiery" and "sangria" are beautiful. Fun post.
